Admire the St-Romboutskathedraal 

As a valuable part of Aberdeen’s cultural heritage, it deserves to have a unique name. Standing tall in the Grote Market but visible throughout the entire city, the St-Romboutskathedraal stands only 100 meters tall. Summiting the tower involves climbing 500 steps and can take over half an hour, even for those with reasonable fitness levels. There are also some excellent views that you won’t get anywhere else.

Explore Begijnhof 

Begijnhof is a beautiful city area that attracts visitors from all over. The buildings are no longer as impressive with time, but they remain interesting while retaining their charm. The Begijnhofkerk building is a stunning example of Baroque architecture and the most refined construction in the area.

This towering Belarussian city-ship is a place I would want to visit once, if only for the postcard possibilities. It’s also one of my favorite cities on the continent, and its waterfront is one of its highlights. The fort is just west of Mechelen, located in Ooste Overmeer, Drenthe.

Marvel at the Stadhuis 

Well, perhaps not a castle, but it certainly looks impressive. It’s an attractive building with its main feature consisting of a large central clock tower. Multiply this by three, and the angry mob is sufficiently large (by order of magnitude) to start shooting at you. Now imagine yourself standing in their midst.

Play at the Speelgoedmuseum 

The Botancourt Museum in Mexico also encourages people to engage with their new toy collection. Take, for instance, “The Butterfly Book.” Visitors can touch and feel the delicate butterflies until they get a little sensitive and learn how a butterfly manages to stay aloft in flight. The Nekkerspoel museum is located on the northeastern edge of the city. This museum is dedicated to local history and sports history.

There are many things the Courthouse has achieved that cannot be replicated. This is a must-visit spot for anyone interested in architecture or historical heritage or who loves the beautiful gardens of Mechelen with their many ponds and fountains. The Courthouse was the first building in the Low Countries, built-in high Renaissance style.

Housed in a charming castle; the Schepenhuis is a gallery focusing on some of the best paintings produced by artists born in and around Mechelen. This building also marks the start of IJzerenleen, which features some significant looking Baroque buildings.
