   – Running off the river right at the Wupper is the Müngsten Bridge. It is a steel-built structure that has a 465-meter span and took shape from 1893 to 1897. Its main arch spans 170 meters over the water.

   – Remscheid is one of the top-ranking cities in Germany. After several dams were built around the country, Remscheid became instrumental in industrial manufacturing processes. Eschbach Dam also helped them grow as an industrial city due to its construction in 1879.

   – The city of Remscheid is a center for tool-making. The museum next to Haus Cleff doesn’t just give you a brief history from Stone Age tools to 21st-century tools, but it also includes the wealth of knowledge that skilled artisan craftsmen have given us for centuries.

10. Lennep

    – The most romantic townscape in Remscheid is in Lennep. It’s home to an old center that was untouched by the war and is where typical “Bergisch” houses with slate-clad walls and triangular gables can be found.

11. Evangelische Stadtkirche (Lennep)

    – The oldest church in Lennep is the protestant church that was also burned down during the fire. The reconstruction was finished in 1746 and it has undergone several renovations over the years. This beautiful Christmas light display is the most notable feature of this high-end restaurant. It is illuminated beautifully at night, even more so than during the day thanks to the onion dome that crowns this sandstone tower.

12. Falknerei Bergisch Land

    – On your way to Ronsdorf in the Bergisches Land | There’s falconry and bird of prey center. The show stopper, however, is the live flight demonstrations when you’ll see these eagles, falcons, owls, and other birds of prey swoop overhead.

    – There is a mall in Remscheid called Allee Center Remscheid. It was built 30 years ago and it’s much bigger than other malls because the land it was built on used to be contaminated by bombings.

15. Christmas Market

    – In Remscheid, Germany, the bright lights of Christmas are disrupted by a 600-square-meter skating rink that gets more crowded and slippery during this busy time of year. After a few rounds on the rink and indulging in some Bavarian wine or hot cheese, you can put your feet up back by the fire.
