In the northern suburbs of Paris, France, there is a municipality called Épinay-sur-Seine. From the center of Paris, it is 11.3 kilometers away. Paul Tournon designs a church in the city of Our Lady of the Missions of the Swan of Enghien.
Geography
Epinay-sur-Seine is in the west of the department of Seine-Saint-Denis. Located 6 km north of Paris on the right bank of the Seine, it borders the municipalities Saint-Denis, Villetaneuse, and L’Île-Saint-Denis in the same department of Seine-Saint-Denis, and Argenteuil, Saint-Denis. As part of the Val-d’Oise department, Gratien, Enghien-les-Bains, Deuil-la-Barre, and Montmagny .
Hydrography
The municipal territory is bordered on the south by the Seine, and it drops gradually from the slopes of the Montmorency plateau towards the Seine from north to south. On the municipal territory are three streams: the ru des Econdeaux to the west, the ru d’Enghien to the north and its tributaries, the ru des Haras and ru d’Arra to the south. In the 1960s, these streams were buried, and their water only feeds the drainage system towards the Seine when it rains. There is a memory of a pond extended to their confluence on the street of the pond.

- Road – The A 15 motorway serves the town, the A 86 passing nearby, as well as the R.N. 14 (the main arterial route through the city), RN 214, RN 310, and RN 328, on which line 8 of the Île-de-France tramway circulates since December 16, 2014.

Spinogelo appears in the 7th century Spinogilium 862. Ipinacum is a wrong Latinization of the 7th century, by confusion with the suffix *-ACU.
According to Albert Dauzat and Charles Rostaing, epinay refers to places with thorns and places planted with thorns. In old French, we called it an epinay, as we called it a chesnay, a saussay, etc.
